The Octopode Factory's in the NEWSPAPER!!
I was is the Newspaper this week! Apparently my stall for Quad's gift bazaar was the most eye-catchingly festive. Although it wasn't much of an 'article' just a picture and a sentence AND they spelt my name WRONG, I feel a slightly great sense of achievement that i was the only one mentioned by name!
"Festive artist Lilly (it's actually Lily) Chilvers was amoung those whose work attracted more than 1,300 people to a gift bazaar at Derby's Quad. The event featured 29 stalls selling decorations like those made by Lilly's Derby-based business, The Octopode Factory"

Gift Bazaar!!
This past weekend at Quad in Derby I was selling Dolls, Tshirts, Bags and lots of little things with Original designs from The Octopode Factory ~ all unique and handmade by me.

For the past couple of weeks, I've been making dolls, tshirts and bags to sell on the gift bazaar which was last weekend. Now that's finished I'm able to get back to drawing and my first new set of images for you all is ALICE is many different guises ~ A is for Alice which is classic alice, a retro Alice, a mod Alice and Alice taking on the guise of the Mad Hatter ~bowtie and teapot to boot!
